Instant Personality
Give the room a noticeable update without painting, replacing furniture, or committing to a full makeover.
Not one country. The whole inheritance.
You flip the switch, and the continent is mapped in kente cloth — red, green, gold, and black woven into geometric pattern against a quilted cream backdrop. Each region of Africa carries its own textile tradition: kente weaving in one section, basketweave and diagonal blockwork in another, the diversity of the continent rendered in fabric instead of flattened into one generic outline. Raised, layered, textured — this is something your hand recognizes before your eyes finish tracing it.
Fifty-four countries. Thousands of ethnic groups. One legacy. This piece doesn't pick a region to represent the whole — it honors the entirety, the way you'd want your own lineage honored if someone only had one shot at telling your story.
What It's Made Of
Why It Holds Up
The color-lock finish protects the reds, greens, and golds the same way it protects everything else in this house — because meaning doesn't get to fade just because a color does. Wipe clean, no flaking, built to still be teaching your household something ten years from now.
From the Maker
"People ask, 'what part of Africa are you from?' and sometimes the honest answer is: all of it. Our ancestors came from different regions, but the connection doesn't split along a border. Every pattern on this piece belongs to a different part of the continent on purpose — because the diversity is real, and so is the unity underneath it. When this hangs in your home, it's not decoration. It's a claim: I honor the whole continent, not just the part I can trace." — Ko'Kila
Where It Belongs
The hallway your kids pass on the way to school, learning geography and heritage in the same glance. The home library, next to the books that tell the rest of the story. The office where you build your future without losing sight of your roots. Anywhere a family needs a daily reminder that "Africa" was never one flat idea.
Made-to-Order, On Purpose
Nothing is layered or sealed until you order it. Each continent shape is hand-constructed with the same respect for diversity the piece represents — no shortcuts on something built to honor 54 countries at once. Processing takes 3–4 business days before it ships.

THE DETAILS THAT MATTER
A small switch can change the whole mood. Every KKBK cover is made to bring personality, intention, and a little more soul to the walls most people overlook.
Give the room a noticeable update without painting, replacing furniture, or committing to a full makeover.
Your cover is created and finished one piece at a time— not pulled from a shelf of cookie-cutter décor.
Midsize construction provides extra coverage to help conceal minor paint lines and wall imperfections.
Choose from the available switch, outlet, Decora, and multi-gang configurations shown above.
Before you order
Choose the option that matches the wall plate currently installed in your home. KKBK wall plates are midsize— approximately ⅜ inch larger on each side than standard-size plates.
You will receive the decorative wall plate configuration selected above, along with replacement screws.
Because every piece is finished by hand, slight variations may occur. Those differences are part of what makes your cover distinctly yours.
Made one order at a time. Slight variation is part of the handmade character.

Small detail. Whole mood.
You came because your home is supposed to feel like you — rooted, intentional, full of personality and meaning. The switch plate may be small, but the details are exactly what make a room stop feeling generic and start feeling like home.
