60-Day Craftsmanship Warranty

Every cover is handmade with care, quality materials, and attention to detail. If something goes wrong because I didn't build it right, I've got you. No questions, no hassle—just a replacement.

What's Covered

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for 60 days from the date of delivery. If your cover fails due to any of the following, I'll replace it for free:

  • Rhinestones or embellishments falling off during normal use
  • Fabric peeling, lifting, or separating from the base plate
  • Buttons or mosaic pieces detaching from the surface
  • Protective coating chipping, cracking, or failing prematurely
  • Base plate cracking or breaking under normal installation and use
  • Color fading or discoloration caused by defective materials (not sun exposure)
  • Any other manufacturing defect that affects the integrity or appearance of the cover

Real talk: I stand behind my work. If it breaks because I didn't make it right, I'll fix it. Period.

What's NOT Covered

This warranty does not cover damage caused by:

  • Improper installation (over-tightening screws, using wrong tools, etc.)
  • Accidental damage (dropping, impact, crushing, etc.)
  • Misuse or abuse (using harsh chemicals, excessive scrubbing, outdoor exposure, etc.)
  • Normal wear and tear (minor scratches, gradual dulling from daily use)
  • Modifications or alterations (cutting, painting, adding your own embellishments)
  • Environmental damage (extreme heat, moisture, direct sunlight, outdoor exposure)
  • Pet or child damage (scratches, chewing, rough handling)
  • Incompatibility issues (using on non-standard switches without consulting us first)

Basically: if you treat it like trash, it's gonna look like trash. This warranty covers my workmanship, not accidents or misuse.


📋How to File a Warranty Claim

If you believe your cover has a defect covered by this warranty, follow these steps:

Step 1

Contact Us

Reach out through our contact form or email us at kila@kustomkreationzbykila.com within 60 days of receiving your order. Include your order number and a brief description of the issue.

Step 2

Provide Photos

Send clear photos showing the defect. Include close-up shots of the problem area and a full view of the cover. This helps me quickly assess the issue and determine if it's covered under warranty.

Step 3

We'll Review & Respond

I'll review your claim within 2 business days and let you know if it's covered. If approved, I'll send you a prepaid return label (if needed) or ship a replacement immediately—whichever makes more sense.

Step 4

Get Your Replacement

If we need the defective cover back for inspection, return it using the prepaid label. Once received (or if inspection isn't needed), I'll ship your free replacement within 3-5 business days. You'll receive tracking info so you know exactly when it's arriving.

Warranty Period: 60 days from the date of delivery (based on shipping carrier's confirmation).

Original Purchaser Only: This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. If you received this as a gift, the warranty is still valid—just provide the original order information.

Proof of Purchase Required: You'll need your order number or email receipt to file a claim. If you can't find it, reach out and I'll help you track it down.

Replacement Only (No Refunds): Warranty claims are fulfilled with a replacement cover of the same design. If that design is no longer available, I'll offer a comparable alternative or issue a store credit.

One Replacement Per Item: Each cover is eligible for one warranty replacement. If the replacement also fails due to a defect, we'll work something out—just reach out.

Custom Orders: Custom-made covers are covered under the same 60-day warranty for defects, but design changes or "I changed my mind" requests are not covered.

Final Decision: KKBK reserves the right to determine whether damage is covered under warranty. We'll always be fair, honest, and transparent in our assessment.

Q: What if my cover breaks after 60 days?
A: Reach out anyway! If it's a quality issue, I'll still work with you even outside the warranty window. I want you to be happy with your purchase long-term.

Q: Do I have to return the defective cover?
A: Sometimes yes, sometimes no. If I can clearly see the defect from photos, I'll just ship a replacement. If I need to inspect it, I'll send you a prepaid return label.

Q: How long does the warranty replacement process take?
A: Typically 1-2 weeks total, including shipping time. I respond to claims within 2 business days, and replacements ship within 3-5 business days of approval.

Q: Can I exchange for a different design instead of a replacement?
A: Not under warranty—warranty replacements are for the same item. But if you want to exchange for something else, check our 30-day return policy instead.

Q: What if I'm not sure if the damage is covered?
A: Just reach out and ask! Send photos and I'll let you know. No harm in asking, and I'm always happy to help troubleshoot.

Q: Does this warranty cover shipping damage?
A: Yes, if your cover arrives damaged, that's covered. Contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and we'll send a replacement immediately.
