Creating the perfect bedroom should be your top priority. A good night sleep is very important to a good healthy life, and you owe it to yourself to have a bedroom that sets the mood for serenity. 

When it comes to decorating your bedroom, don’t be afraid to think out of the box. You want your bedroom to be as inviting as possible. So don’t limit yourself to just picking a color and wallpaper. Think about improving your lighting. After all, you want the room where you spend a lot of time feeling good. 

Lighting is one of the easiest ways to upgrade your experience within your space. If you choose not to have a huge lighting makeover that involves installing chandeliers and recessed lighting, there are still several small changes you can make. During the day open your bedroom window allow natural light to filter through your dark space.  

Some benefits of natural lighting are that it boosts vitamin D, wards off seasonal depression, and helps in moderating electrical expenses. You may want to consider switching out your window treatments for blinds that slide, which allow the afternoon sunlight to stream through the windows. Just make sure you have them closed at night! 

For night lighting we prefer the use of table lamps or floor lamps. Consider LED bulbs for their energy efficiency and long-life span.
